Prevention of Premature Collapse

This new Beama document aims to provide guidance relating to the 18th Edition of BS 7671 (Regulation  521.10.202) which states that “Wiring systems shall be supported such that they will not be liable to premature collapse in the event of a fire.” Our expert Jonathan Rawlinson, technical head of network components division, says “with the network component’s 50+ years experience at the forefront of cable fixings and glands we were glad to contribute to these important recommendations and help improve safety during fire”
